I am currently employed as the EHS manager for Major Programmes. A forward facing role with the primary responsibility for developing, implementing and maintain a suitable and efficient EHS management system for work undertaken by Siemens Employees on London Underground Sites. Responsibilities also include the management of EHS arrangements for a complex testing and commissioning operation for the manufacturing plant based in Goole, east Yorkshire.

Prior to this role and following internal promotion, I oversaw the mobilisation of the £200 Goole Rail Village train manufacturing facility.

· Leading EHS mobilisation for London Underground infrastructure projects.

· Managing EHS for testing and commissioning of new build trains in Goole.

· Collaborating with high-demand clients to align Siemens EHS standards with London Underground requirements.

· Ensuring the processes and procedures are effectively developed and implemented into the programme to effectively define the EHS requirements for safe working.

· Ensuring that the correct tools are available for work to be completed safely, minimising the business impact on the environment.

· Reporting on EHS performance both to Siemens as my employer and to London Underground as the customer.

· Assuring the effectiveness of the EHS management system through effective measurement, inspection and auditing.

· Actively involved in accident minimisation, investigation and resolution.

· Development and review of the EHS strategy for the DTUP Major Programme.

• Investigated accidents thoroughly, identifying root causes to prevent recurrence.

· Managed EHS across 3 depots and 7 outstations from Edinburgh to London.

· Delivered CDM compliance for £85m Doncaster depot build.

· Developed the EHS management system for the Doncaster Train Maintenance Centre.

· Managed the integration of east coast mainline EHS mobilisation plan

· Achieved ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 certifications within 12 months of operation.

· Led a team of 7 EHS professionals to assist in the management of a complex rail maintenance operation.

· Developed the global COVID reaction plan and COVID management system for Hitachi Rail.

· I was involved in working on a multidisciplined project involving a number of businesses working for Network Rail as the client for a major rail improvement and electrification project in the North of England.
