Currently I am working at Waitrose at their Brinklow site in Milton Keynes, where my daily tasks are to complete chilled store deliveries for them and collections from third party companies on behalf of Waitrose.

In this time I came back to the HGV industry and worked with a few driving agencies, Best connection, Rapier, Driver Hire etc.

I done a very mixed class 1 role in this time from store deliveries, trunking, flat bed deliveries etc.

The main 2 companies I worked for in this time was TK Maxx completing store deliveries at their site in Brackmills in Northampton, I also worked for Yusen Logistics which was trunking work.

Gutterpro is one of the leading exterior cleaning business in the UK, and I had a franchise with them. In the main we was a gutter clearing and cleaning company, using a high powered vacuum operated from the ground using carbon fibre poles to reach to the gutters to remove the debris affectively and safely from the ground. Our business grew in to different sectors as well, patio/driveway cleaning, brick cleaning, roof cleaning.

Having passed my class 2 and then my class 1 on the Eddie Stobart trainer course I was then employed by them at their crick depot. I worked on the Tesco contract and my main duties were completing store deliveries and collections from third party companies that supplied Tesco. Trunking was also a big part of my role using double deckers to move stock between Tesco/Stobart depots.

After my 3rd year at Eddie Stobart I was also responsible for taking out newly passed class 1 drivers, I would sit with them for a week to help ease them in to their driver career and help familiarise them with store deliveries and collections.

A5 car sales was established in 2000 and we joined the team shortly after. they are a leading used car dealer in south Northants; they provide a very diverse and varied mix of quality used cars, from Ferrari's and Aston Martins to to family run around and cars for newly passed young drivers, with prices to suit all budgets.

Responsible for: preparing vehicles for sale, valeting vehicles and preparing them for delivery to customers.

This was spread over 2 locations, one in Paulerspury Northants and the a second site Earls Barton Northants as the growth of the car sales business grew. Between the 2 sites there was over 100 vehicles that we were responsible for, and Perfection Detailing also grew with us now having 6 members of staff across the 2 sites.

From 2006 - 2014 we also became an agent for 2 very well respected tuning companies in the UK. We carried out many different aspects of tuning solutions with our ECU upgrades and also upgraded parts like performance exhausts, brakes, suspension, induction kits etc.

2012 – 2014 Agent for AMD Tuning (TA Silverstone Performance Tuning)

AMD Tuning are market leaders in high performance engine tuning, ECU remaps, exhausts and servicing.

AMD Tuning had three dedicated centers; one head office and two agents. I was lucky enough to be one of these agents based at my premises near Silverstone.

AMD develop their own ECU remaps, meaning they understand every aspect of the process and can maximise the results, customising them to the individuals needs. Over 70% of their customer base is repeat business.

2006 – 2014 Agent for Evolution Chips

To ensure that I could offer my customers the best product suited to their needs I also acted as an agent for Evolution Chips.

Evolution Chips has over 100 installers; equipped to remap virtually any vehicle, including cars, vans, boats, agricultural and even HGV's.

Ampthill Metal Company is one of the leading recyclers in the UK. Providing a service that collects waste from businesses, individuals, factories and sites to be destroyed/recycled.

I was responsible for operation a 360 excavator crane, loading and unloading lorries for movement of waste. Crushing and segregating waste metal for recycling and destruction.

Working procedures:

I was working on site/ground as a 360 degree crane excavator operator.
