I have wanted to work in bespoke tailoring from early on in my teenage years. However, I never seriously considered it as a career path until the summer of 2023 when I bought my first sewing machine. Since then, I have performed numerous alterations for myself and friends whilst at university. Recently, I created my first pair of trousers from scratch. I am currently in the process of making my first blazer. Making this item, I realised two things: one, I do want to pursue a career in bespoke tailoring, and two, I need to be professionally trained.
