  • Develop, with a coaching team a county training programme which focuses on raising the level of West of Scotland teams competing in inter-county competitions.
  • Present "break-even" programme budget to the board.
  • Liaise with the Tennis Scotland performance team, West of Scotland club coaches and the county office staff to identify players who may be considered for the programme.
  • Mentor newly qualified West coaches at programme sessions.
  • Communicate with players and parents with regard to the programme and manage parental expectations and their role in all players development.
