I am a motivated, hardworking undergraduate BSc Environmental Health and safety student in second year seeking a health, safety and environment placement for my third year with yourselves COOTE ENGINEERING. I am dedicated to assuring the highest standards of work and service are always met. I have a strong work ethic and can work well with groups and individually in a busy environment and am always keen to learn new working methods. I thrive in working in new and unfamiliar environments, will also being able to settle in a constant environment. My roles in a kitchen environment not only honed my work ethic but also a real life understanding for vital Health and Safety and environmental/cleanliness factors, it has given me a keen eye for health and safety protocols and hazard identification. It was my individual responsibility record and maintain essential HACCP system, which includes keeping the business in compliance to relevant legislation.

In my multiple roles in kitchen environments, that have a lot of transferable and life equipping skills built into the job roles themselves. Working within kitchens has made me a confident within a team and often has given leadership responsibilities, it has equipped me with communication skills to work at a fast paced level while also respecting peoples abilities opinions and work methods. Having much experience in kitchen roles has also enhanced my critical thinking methods and has lead to problem solving on the spot and in more long systematic approaches.

I have a wide range of skills that include being knowledgeable and fit to use Microsoft range of applications, strong ethic consideration, coherent communication skills and a willingness to learn and grow from the knowledge provide by those above me. I have excellent time management skills and am punctual in all social and professional environments. I have also held a full UK driving license (manual) since 2021, I am willing and keen to travel to any offices plus all local and further afield sites you work in. Traveling to and from this location wont be an issue and I have experience of commuting as I have for the past two years to university. I can work well within or outside a regular "9-5" working set up and am keen to deliver a quality standard of work to help support all staff within the company.

  • I received clubman of the year on multiple occasions when I played youth rugby up until I then moved on to senior rugby.
  • Playing outdoor bowls for 3 years was promoted to skipping rinks for both the B team which play in division 1 & C team which play in division 2 at Cookstown bowing club.
  • I also skip a rink for Molesworth indoor bowling club that currently play in division 2.
  • Playing close alongside my partner I have won the NIPBA B Championship pairs tournament in Outdoor bowls by win 6 matches.
