Summary

I am a versatile, highly self-motivated and driven professional. As you will note from my CV, I have been working for Manchester Foundation Trust (MFT) since September 2015, initially employed as an agency porter before gaining a Trust contract. After becoming a Trust employee, I achieved a promotion as a Portering Supervisor, responsible for overseeing the daily activities of a team of staff. Since then, I have moved to the NHS managing the Facilitates at Withington Community Hospital, I monitored performance to highlight any areas of concern and to ensure the consistent achievement of challenging targets and KPIs. This role also involved staff management in terms of disciplinary matters, Rota compilation and carrying out ‘return to work’ interviews. I have managerial responsibility for a team of 60 staff, ensuring the each task is carried out safe and effectively.
Carrying out risk assessments, developing / implementing safe systems of work and promoting effective communication are also worked on, as is the recruitment of new members of staff.
Professional development is very important to me and as such I have undertaken a wealth of courses, including Manual Handling, Mortuary Training, Helipad Training, COSH training Hand Hygiene, among others. As well as a strong health & safety awareness, I also have an understanding of guidelines and procedures relating to food hygiene.
Throughout my experiences to date, I have developed a wealth of transferable skills, including exceptional organization, negotiation, planning, time management, problem resolution and interpersonal skills, utilizing superb communicative abilities to build, develop and maintain beneficial relationships at all levels.
I also have excellent written communication skills and I am a proficient user of Microsoft Office, encompassing Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. I believe that the skills, together with my experience and knowledge gained and developed throughout my very successful career
