Accomplishments

  • Successfully have increased the number of girls participating in football by 60%. Had Year 4 and Year 5 & 6 Girls teams attend the London Games representing my local borough of Ealing.
  • Led and facilitated Emirate girls in the Middle East to participate in their first-ever sports competition which has grown from inter-house, tournaments to weekly fixtures. A total of 10 schools participated which resulted in 140 students competing.
  • Inspired Emirate girls to lead healthy active lifestyles outside of school by establishing local community links within the respective Emirates.
  • Improved school canteens by educating school principals about nutrition and well-being.
  • Designed and managed the Continued Professional Development training for all staff across the emirate e.g. hosting workshops where teachers from all seven emirates attended.
