Natasha McCabe

I am currently in my final year at the University of Sheffield, working towards a degree in Korean Studies, with a focus on language and culture. I am working towards complete fluency, but I am proficient in reading writing, speaking and listening in the Korean language.

As part of my program, I spent a year studying at Sookymyung Women's University in South Korea, where I was fully immersed in the language and culture. This experience strengthened cross-cultural communication skills, adaptability, and problem-solving ability while deepening my understanding of Korean customs and professional etiquette. During my time there, I engaged with with both academic study and daily life in Korea, fostering independence, resilience, and global awareness.

I believe that my time in Korea has made me much more resilient and confident, and it has made me strive to take on new challenges and roles.
