I have spent 10 years working in an excellent school with a nurturing and caring community. I believe all children should be known personally, valued and encouraged to work to the best of their ability. During my time at Holy Trinity Primary School I have completed a Middle Leadership course and I am currently completing a Senior Leadership course. I believe that I have strong customer service skills. It would be an excellent opportunity for me to continue my career at Ardingly College. I would love support families in finding the best school for their child and allow them to experience a world-class education at an outstanding school.
Being able to communicate effectively with children, parents and colleagues is imperative in my role as a teacher. I believe I am a natural relationship builder and enjoy spending time getting to know everyone I come into contact with.
I build positive and caring relationships with all children that I teach, getting to know their unique characteristics. I create a positive and encouraging learning environment, always making sure that I have an excellent understanding of pupils abilities and next steps. I collect, analyse and track data on pupils progress.
I have excellent organisational skills that I use in all areas of my role from daily routines in the classroom, planning, marking, assessing, leading worships, meeting with parents, leading staff meetings and being history subject lead.
I work strategically, always making sure I am up to date with our school development plan and work with colleagues to achieve the overall aims and interests of our school.
Supervising and mentoring teaching assistants and student teachers to build confidence and cultivate effective classroom environments. Being supportive and encouraging to adults who are learning new roles and responsibilities.
