  • During my week of work experience, I worked alongside staff in Preschool, Reception and Year 2
  • I worked with the children who were presenting with Social and Emotional Needs, who were autistic and a couple of children who struggled with communication or were non-verbal
  • I assisted these particular children with completing classroom work and fine & gross motor skill activities
  • Staff helped me to gain knowledge on my expressed interests by allowing me sit in on activities such as Attention Bucket and Phonics
  • This helped me to understand the job more and what Support Staff/ Teaching Assistants do for the children everyday!
