I am a highly motivated and empathetic professional with a strong foundation in caseload management and organisation. I demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams. I have been recognised for creativity, flexibility, and the capacity to deliver engaging training and presentations. I am deeply committed to maintaining self-awareness, patience, and calmness in all professional interactions. I aspire to leverage these skills in a dynamic environment that values innovation and collaboration.
I have been on my journey to become a qualified counsellor since 2023, and throughout this time I have been developing my modality skills alongside a working knowledge of ethical frameworks. I am deeply passionate about working with individuals to achieve their best outcomes and to overcome the difficulties of life. My special interests are trauma, women's issues, domestic violence, sexual trauma and addiction. As such I am looking to find a placement where I can contribute to a service alongside being supported to develop skills and knowledge in my areas of interest.
My role at NPP Neurogroup is a promotion to highly specialised practitioner. The company provides private rehabilitation for patients who have long standing neurological symptoms and have reached the end of their NHS journey.
The nature of my caseload in this role means that many of my patients have experienced medical neglect and trauma, and I have been undertaking CPD in how trauma impacts the brain.
My role has compromised of the following responsibilities:
I am a mother to three children, carefully balancing my time between my family, my counselling training and my part time job as a Speech and Language Therapist. In my spare time am an avid reader, a crafter and try to maintain my daily yoga practice.
