I am a highly motivated, adaptable, and enthusiastic professional who brings warmth and positivity to every role. I thrive in dynamic, target-driven environments and consistently meet or exceed expectations through a proactive and results-oriented approach. I take pride in my ability to adapt quickly, embrace challenges, and contribute meaningfully to both team and business success. With proven expertise in leadership, ethical conduct, and customer service excellence—alongside skills in technical equipment operation, business development, and performance evaluation—I remain fully committed to achieving long-term business objectives. Above all, I approach both work and life with energy and optimism, finding fulfillment wherever I can as I feel this is so important.
As a Supervisor at CeX, I have developed strong leadership and team management skills, consistently ensuring smooth day-to-day operations in a fast-paced retail environment. My role has strengthened my ability to motivate staff, delegate tasks effectively, and maintain high standards of customer service. I have also gained valuable experience in stock control, conflict resolution, and sales performance analysis. These responsibilities have enhanced my problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities, while also giving me a solid foundation in training new team members and driving team productivity to meet targets.
I genuinely enjoy working in a team environment and believe that enjoying my work is key to maintaining a positive and productive mindset. Supporting and helping others in the workplace is something I take pride in, and I always strive to create a collaborative and encouraging atmosphere for both colleagues and customers. This job has been such a fantastic learning experience for me, and gave me my first experience of being in a management role which I have throughly enjoyed.
I stared out in this particular Cex in 2020, my first store before the one I currently work for now. In this role, I developed excellent technological knowledge, learning about a wide range of electronics, gaming products, and software, which allowed me to confidently assist customers and provide informed, helpful advice. This position also gave me my first insight into the company’s values and operations, and I quickly realised that I wanted to grow within CeX. My time as a Sales Assistant motivated me to work towards gaining management experience, as I became increasingly interested in the leadership side of retail and saw the potential to develop skills I could carry forward into future roles.
While studying at university, I worked at The Entertainer, a role that initially served as a means to support myself financially but quickly became a valuable opportunity to develop strong retail skills. During my time there, I gained hands-on experience in customer service, merchandising, and working efficiently in a busy, family-focused retail environment. I learned how to communicate effectively with a wide range of customers, manage stock levels, and maintain an engaging and welcoming store atmosphere. Balancing this job alongside my studies also helped me build excellent time management and organisational skills, which have continued to benefit me in my professional development.
