Job overview
- Reviewing of structural steel drawings (Both IFC & Engineering drawings).
- Reviewing of RFI (Request for information) and other site related documents (contract).
- Studying the layout & loading charts of the Mobile/Crawler cranes and other lifting
machineries available at site. - Studying the erection methodology and checking of the feasibility as persite conditions and
to highlight the constraints. - Studying the project schedule and check the sequence of activities involved.
- Preparation of fabrication & erection schedule to meet the project schedule.
- Preparation of material request for erection related items and consumables.
- Manpower handling based on site requirement and minimize the idle man hours.
- Preparation of the Method statement based on the erection plan and site requirement.
- Preparation of crane schedule in accordance with the method statement for proper
utilization of equipment. - Coordination with main contractors, consultants on day-to-day activities and conduct
meeting to the site team to make them understand the erection methodology and to finish
the work as per the schedule with required safety and quality measures. - Maintain project schedule by monitoring progress and maintaining daily report for day-to-
day activities. - Through all the steel erection steps, solutions for many technical problems during erection
due to material defect, design problems or site conditions to be set right by my proposals or
client proposals through RFI (Request for information) approvals or by Work Instruction

Permanent Sheet Pile in Dock Area
• Marking Guide Frame Casing and Alignment the Guide Frame for Sheet pile driving
• Taking As-Built Bearing Pile, Anchor Pile, Sheet Pile, Pile Cap and Civil Works and
taken approval from client for further works
• Deformation Monitoring for Coffer Dam Sheet Pile Optical Target area and wherever
doing construction activity of Excavated area of Temporary Sheet piles
• Traverse for every six months and whenever client required shall be done
• Every month cross check all TBM’s
• Marking the PVD Installation for one method of ground settlement and after
settlement gauges reading taking
• Taking approval from client for all piles Before, After Boring and Before concrete survey related work
• Marking Pile Cap and all Civil Works
• Dock floor conductor strip and Anchor bar fixing work - Dock floor concrete finish work and mention the slope ratio
