  • I head up the research and evaluation at Suffolk Mind.
  • The evaluation side of this includes promoting participation in the research, and capturing and communicating the impact of our services (Incl. a Peer Services). Information which my team uses to inform the development of said services.
  • The research side covers county-wide research into the mental wellbeing of all residents. We use this to inform how we respond to mental health in the county; the services we provide, the information we put out and where we direct our resources.
  • I also head up our Equality, Diversity & Inclusion work, which aims to increase inclusivity in our workplace for our staff, for our service users and the general population of Suffolk.

  • In this role, I've been pleased to have designed, run, analyzed and reported on research with female members and the general membership of the Labour party and Young Labour. This created a way for all members to have their voices heard in the strategy creation, and general day-to workings of the party
  • Along with the rest of the Executive Committee I have created strategies for the party as a whole and the sub groups within it. This has ensured that as an Executive, we have strategic goals and plans, informed by all members of the party for the year.

  • I design surveys using Qualtrics and collect the data using MTurk
  • I analyze the data using Excel, and write research reports for varied audience
  • In this role I have been interested to learn how to take raw data sets and communicate the findings confidently and articulately.

Personal Information

Outside of work, I'm (mostly) enjoying completing my doctorate, attend a monthly non-fiction book club and enjoy emersing myself in new cultures- Japan being next on the horizon. I also enjoy working my way through cookbooks, having made 264 different recipes in 2022 - and strength training, which is my mindfulness.
