Summary

I believe theatre is a powerful tool for young people ,building confidence, voice, and a sense of belonging. I am committed to creating inclusive opportunities that allow all students to experience and benefit from the arts. Through theatre, young people develop communication skills, resilience, creativity, and the ability to collaborate and express themselves authentically. It offers a space where they can explore identity, build relationships, and feel seen and valued, often transforming engagement, wellbeing, and aspirations in ways that extend far beyond the stage.

Affiliations

  • I absolutely love theatre and live performance—it’s something I’m really passionate about. I also enjoy the wider performing arts, especially live music, festivals, film, and cinema, as they all bring stories and creativity to life in different ways. I often visit museums and galleries, which has helped me build a real appreciation for art and culture. I’m also fascinated by local history and archaeology, and I enjoy things like mudlarking and exploring heritage sites, as they make the past feel real and exciting.
