Current position - dealing with one to one customer service: seating customers, taking orders, managing allergies, and creating memorable experiences. Learnt sales skills by trying different ways to upsell items to increase revenue.

Collective cafe

Experience waitressing coffee and pizzas. Large focus on building relationships with customers due to more of a community atmosphere - helped largely with communication skills. KP cover experience as well as working with pastries and ensuring allergies and intolerances are prioritised for customer safety.

Lazy Fin

Longest position - Gained proficient skills in service from working with coffee, smoothies, alcoholic drinks, cocktails, and draught beers/ciders. Service with food as well as working within the kitchen and intermediate training in food health and safety with KP experience. Built strong confidence in communication with customers as well as colleagues to work efficiently and maintain a calm headspace despite high pressure situations.

Under this same employer, I got to experience one time event shifts within different areas of Brighton as a bartender or waitress working under Laines Brighton Co. This included quickly adjusting and picking up the training and flow of a new place on event nights at places like cricket grounds, amex stadiums, and football watch parties. Built strong dynamic skills through this which have helped me with all aspects of hospitality and personal skills overall.

One time experience modelling for an independent retail store in Brighton. Worked with different people to create a good atmosphere for online photos for their website, and social media to promote their clothing.
