Summary

I am currently a Foundation Year Software Engineering student at the University of the West of England (UWE), where I am developing a solid foundation in core programming skills and software development principles. I have a particular passion for web development, having gained strong expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, and I am expanding my knowledge of React.js to create dynamic, responsive websites. I have built several personal projects, including a portfolio website and an e-commerce platform, where I applied my understanding of responsive design and user experience principles.

I am particularly excited about applying for the Technology Industrial Placement at Nationwide as I see it as a fantastic opportunity to further develop my skills in a real-world environment. I am eager to learn from experts within your Data & Analytics or Security & Resilience teams and gain practical experience in areas such as data modeling, AI technologies, and cybersecurity. I am enthusiastic about contributing to Nationwide’s innovative tech initiatives and supporting the development of impactful solutions that benefit both customers and colleagues. My problem-solving mindset, eagerness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively make me confident that I would thrive in this placement.
