• Led observability transformation across microservices, delivering end-to-end Datadog instrumentation (structured logging, trace correlation, custom metrics, and mission-critical dashboards), and co-founded an internal Observability Guild to standardize practices, bridge application and infrastructure monitoring, and mentor teams on application-level observability.

• Built SMS platform for smallholder farmers in Kenya as part of two-person engineering team, architecting the backend from inception in Node.js while collaborating with lead frontend engineer.
