I am a hard-working individual who takes great pride in my role as a nurse. I started working as a healthcare assistant which allowed me to gain many skills and knowledge. This experience gave me a sense of confidence during my transition to becoming a registered nurse. I am committed to delivering high-quality patient care with a focus on cultural awareness and teamwork. I strive to make a difference to all patients within my care and ensure to show patients respect and dignity. I enjoy my role as a nurse which I believe shows in my attitude when caring for patients and communicating with colleagues. I currently work in a fast-paced environment which has allowed me to develop and gain skills such as, good communication and listening skills, critical thinking, medication management, wound care, caring for diabetic patients, surgical aftercare, interpretating vital signs and escalating, using a-e assessment, catheter insertion, providing personal care and admission assessment. I am committed to working within the trust policies and the NMC codes of conducts. I am looking to expand my nursing career and encounter new roles within the nursing field that will allow me further my skills and knowledge.
