· Launch the new AWS instance in EC2 for the new project and install the packages and handover to the application team.

· AWS disk Addition, NIC addition and instance type changes from existing prod AWS servers.

· Configure the AWS Security group and VPC for corresponding instances

· Manage and troubleshoot the RHEL, Sun Solaris Server and physical, VMWARE environment.

· Having Experience with Oracle DB production environment.

· Having Experience with Oracle DB and Client installation. Also configured the Oracle ASM disks.

· Having experience with DELL EMC, MD storage hardware replacement activity.

· Having experience with Dell DD NFS storage volume creation and server allocation..

· Following the ITMS process for SR, IR, and CRs with corresponding priority.

· Having experience with Vendor follow up to replace the server and storage hardwares in case of any failures.

· Manage and maintain LAB systems, and provide required support to R&D for product delivery.

· Handling on-call during business hours to RHEL Linux and AIX servers for US and Australia projects.

· Handling Change requests, incidents and service tasks in service now ticket monitoring tool.

· Collect the data in the servers gap sheet from different kinds of servers and fix the non-complaint issue for each quarter.

· Allocate the resources in the VM and Physical server as per the capacity request received from the customer.

· Troubleshoot the application server slowness issue and suggest the remediation to the client.

· Troubleshoot all kinds of bootable issues in RHEL servers.

· Creating the servers in AWS Console, security groups, Web servers

· Configuring and troubleshooting on Samba, NFS, SSH, HTTP, DNS, FTP & SFTP

· Monitoring the Risk-Based Continuous Patch(RCP) portal and implementing the security patches corresponding to servers.

• Handling all kinds of incidents related to the Linux Operating system using the Remedy ticketing tool
• Handling Change requests every weekend including OS Kernal patching
• Health checkup every day all storage like Hitachi, Netapp, EMC, etc
• Monitoring performance of all production servers during banking hours
• To check multipath status and collect reports
• Collect SOS report and DSET reports and analysis the same
• Install application packages and update the configuration files
• Apache and Samba server installation and configuration and User Administration
• FTP, LVM, NFS, and web server configuration
• IPTABLE configuration like input, output, and forward table
• Configure Teaming for the critical production server and SELinux Policy

• Managing User and Group Administration: Add, Delete, Modification, User account age
• Working with LVMs
• Logical volume management (Create and Delete PV, VG, LV Resizing of VG and LV)

• Coordinating scheduled/emergency Job Scheduling: AT and Crontab for Backup
• Setting the permission for files and directory, Assign the special permission & Soft links / hard Links
• Managing & Configuring Apache Web Hosting
• Customizing file system and Swap portions /Swap file creation
• Process monitoring (top, uptime, PS, Nice Value, and Task Priority)
• Installation, upgradation and removal of rpms using YUM tool
• Hands-on experience in setup, configuration, upgrade, maintenance, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting of servers running on different OS platforms like Linux, and Windows platform.
