Following the recruitment and successful onboarding of the permanent Production Manager, I have returned to my role as Commissioning Manager.

As the business has experienced significant growth, the company has employed a number of new project managers. I am working with all of them at present to ensure commissioning of Kingsway's products is carried out satisfactorily and issues are closed out.

I am heavily involved in building back relationships that were damaged due to the challenges in production, which has resulted in customers returning to Kingsway and placing significant orders.

I was brought in by the senior management team to the role of Interim Production Manager to work alongside the company's Head of Operations following a restructure of the department. I was responsible for leading the factory team of around 45 people.

The production department was in a poor shape and underperforming so I had to re-engage and motivate the team to increase output and regain the confidence of Kingsway's customers who had been badly affected by production issues.

During my time in the role, I oversaw continuous improvement initiatives to drive gains in quality, flow and output. I was actively involved in planning production operations while establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products.

It was also essential to evaluate the current production processes and I made forward-thinking adjustments to improve output.

As production manager, I led regular meetings continuous improvement projects with measurable goals. Following the recruitment of a permeant Production Manager, I was required to stay in the role for 3 months to integrate and shadow the new recruit.

In my role as Commissioning Manager at Kingsway, I am responsible for the sign off and handover of our complete door systems, ensuring compliance with our technical data, but crucially, ensuring the client is satisfied and a relationship built and established that will create further opportunities for work to be secured.

In this role, I am working alongside the sales, projects and installation teams to ensure that issues are closed out to the clients satisfaction, as well as protecting the Kingsway brand.

I am extensively involved in selling the Kingsway Proactive Maintenance package, securing ongoing monthly revenue from a wide range of customers which in turn drives sales opportunities for the sales team to take forward.

I am also regularly utilised by members of the sales team to carry out product demonstrations and workshops with prospective clients to secure opportunities to quote.

In my role at Landmark, I was responsible for putting all jobs through production and then delivery/ install.

The role involved working with lots of different stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of projects and to build relationships that were essential for the further growth of the company.

During my time in this role, I was responsible for seeing a large number of projects moving through the system simultaneously which meant that accurate attention to detail was required.

Being involved in the purchasing for each project meant that I could work with suppliers to secure better pricing leading to profit increases on tightly costed jobs.
