currently i am self employed.

during my time being self employed i have mostly worked with a local contractor. This involves operating machinery and working with others or alone. I also carry out the majority of the companies repair work and maintenance.

During my time with this contractor i have had to be able to think on my feet and make decisions due to tight weather windows or times scales given by customers, who i dealt with face to face or on the phone.

• I started working here with a view to serve my time as an apprentice after proving myself to the company that I was worthy of the time and effort required to complete my apprenticeship.
• I completed my apprenticeship and qualified as a time served agricultural engineer.
• Most of the tasks I completed here were lone working and using my own initiative to complete the job on time and to a high standard

• During my time at GTR Contracts I was tasked with operating various heavy machines including tracked diggers, loading shovel and tractors.
• As well as operating these machines I was tasked with maintenance of the machines I was using and others in the yard.
