TA placement experience

During my Teaching Assistant placement, I have gained hands-on experience supporting pupils in the classroom, assisting with learning activities, preparing resources, promoting positive behaviour and helping to create an inclusive learning environment. I have worked with individual pupils as well as small groups and have developed a good understanding of how to adapt my support to meet different learning needs. As part of my placement, I have also gained experience within an ARP setting, supporting pupils with additional needs. This has strengthened my patience, communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with children while encouraging their confidence and independence.
