Fleek is the leading cross border marketplace for second hand fashion backed by leading VCs like A16Z, Y combinator & HV Capital. I am building the zero to one journey of our Finance team:

• Leading product efforts to automate our complicated cash flows, FinOps and reporting.
• Building a reliable revenue engine for Fleek
• Building FinOps, Controllership & FP&A Functions

In the absence of founders on the ground in our core market, I set up and lead the Pakistan market for Fleek which is ~75% of the total supply and ~60% of total team

Set up and Lead the following teams: Supply, Operations, Customer Experience, Payments, Marketplace & Data Analytics.

• Scaled GMV from 800k$/month to 2.5m$ in 6 months
• Scaled supplier count from 50 to 200 active suppliers
• Improved On time deliveries to 90%
• Hired & built a high functioning team of 60 people without a recruitment function

• Scaled operations to 30 demand & 3 supply countries with 98% of order volume being cross border
• Setup a network of 3PLs to handle different stages of cross border operations effectively
• Setup quality control centers in Pakistan & India to minimize returns, and control quality & grading of used clothing.
• Setup basic customer support operations with Zendesk

Pakistan’s largest startup, Bazaar is a B2B marketplace for retail backed by Tiger Global & Dragoneer and having raised ~110m$.

I lead the operations function from pre-seed to post Series B.
Scaled Ops to 40 cities, 20k orders/day, 2,000 core & non core colleagues, 10 internal products.
