Summary

Dedicated and resilient Physical Education trainee teacher currently completing a PGCE in Secondary Physical Education, with over two years’ experience working in secondary schools through supply teaching and behaviour support roles. Highly skilled in behaviour management, building positive relationships, and creating inclusive learning environments. Committed to delivering high-quality PE that develops pupils’ physical competence, confidence, and character, while promoting teamwork, resilience, and lifelong participation in physical activity.

I am confident in planning and delivering inclusive, engaging PE lessons across KS3 and KS4, using effective differentiation and assessment for learning to ensure all pupils can make progress and experience success. I place high value on building positive relationships and maintaining high expectations, particularly in practical learning environments.

My teaching philosophy centres on using Physical Education as a vehicle to develop not only physical competence, but also confidence, resilience, teamwork, leadership, and lifelong engagement in physical activity. I am a reflective practitioner who actively seeks feedback to improve practice and is enthusiastic about contributing to extracurricular sport, enrichment opportunities, and the wider life of the school
