Summary

I am young enthusiastic women, who always arrives to work punctually and presentable at all times. I'm currently working in a busy office within the BT building providing the Public (nation wide uk) with the correct emergency service they require. This entails me to react and analyse a situation quickly and professionally as all my calls are 999 emergencys. I also liaise with the emergency services so they can attend the situation with the right and necessary equptment or unit.


before working full time and doing my alevels I worked in a customer facing retail environment which gave me a lot of communication skills to work with people and kids especially helping them get the best expierence when in store.


I have a lot of great transferable skills from my job but I'm also happy to learn more and gain more experience to help with character growth.

Throughout my time at BT I have gained a valuable range of knowledgeable skills through my day to day tasks, including :

During my time at Primark Belfast I was given many opportunities to boost my confidence and work at a fast pace within a timely manor. I am able to maintain a clean and organised inventory to keep the store in order and make it more convenient for customers to find what they are looking for. I also participated in rotating different display, clothing and accessory items due to different edits, current trends and seasonal stock that came into the store daily.


While working at Primark I was also able to meet any customers needs and provide them with a high quality service while also being able to maintain the standards and values that Primark has to ensure satisfaction from both the customer and the stores reputation.


During my time of working on the fittings rooms at Primark I was able to happily guide customers through the fitting rooms and assist them with finding the ideal size and item of clothing to allow them to feel confident and comfortable while wearing a wide range of different clothing items from the store.


I am also able to successfully carry out transactions on computerised tills, including the use of card and cash payments followed by carrying out returns and exchanges to achieve an accurate cash flow and transaction for both Primark and the customer.

Certification

British Sign Language Diploma

In November 2023, I enrolled in a British Sign Language course with New Skills Academy online. This course has 18 modules to complete followed by a certificate of completion when I finish the course. This course will allow me to have the opportunity to communicate with deaf customers within any current and future career, with the aim to provide them with the best customer service possible.


Retail management

Through Great Learning's online courses I was able to complete a Retail Management course in June 2022. This course was able to give me an insight on what working in retail was like before I began working in Primark Belfast.
