Summary

I am a practical civil engineering technician with around three years’ experience supporting highways and civil engineering projects. I have strong AutoCAD skills and am competent in undertaking full topographical surveys using GPS and total station, with survey data processed in LSS for design use. I have supported feasibility and early-stage design work for highways and active travel schemes and have some experience preparing basic Bills of Quantities using RIPAC, alongside an awareness of NEC contract principles.

I work very well as part of a team, communicate effectively with engineers, surveyors, and site staff, and take pride in contributing positively to project delivery. I am highly motivated, reliable, and keen to continue developing my technical and professional skills within a local authority highways or transport environment. I have completed the first year of an HNC in Civil Engineering and am looking to apply my practical surveying and design experience in a role where I can add real value.
