In January 2023 I was promoted to Manager from Deputy & 3-5 Room Senior. I still carried on my senior role until August 2023.


As Manager I carried out specific roles and responsibilities;


  • Supporting staff team
  • Daily running of the service & liaising with the Director (Mark Mitchell)
  • Ensuring high quality provision was provided throughout the setting.
  • Observing staff & staff supervisions.
  • Leading 6 monthly appraisal meetings with staff to discuss progress.

In August 2020 I started my career in early years completing my SVQ 3 in the first 15 months.


In June 2022 I interviewed to be the Senior of the 3-5 room & was successful, some of the roles I carried out were;


  • Worked collaboratively with colleagues whilst preparing reports on each child's development.
  • Set up play room to ensure it reflected the learning needs/ interests of the children.
