Working in multicultural environment, with team leadership experience, as part of the UK (Reading) - France (Paris) team, providing business intelligence services with in-house AI assistant for large global corporate clients. In my role I was responsible for monitoring daily economic newspapers, journals, business publications and press releases, focusing on company strategies, market trends, financial results, product launches, covering markets in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Netherlands, Luxembourg and Belgium. As an analyst my daily tasks included comprehensive market research in relevant countries, writing and editing business summaries for daily reports for clients, with a quick overview of local industry-specific markets, including automotive, transport, banking, insurance, chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
My responsibilities also included selecting business articles from newspapers, publications and press releases and writing summaries for weekly reports for GE Healthcare.
I started working as a junior business information analyst for the Finish media and business intelligence company Esmerk in 2002, which rebranded to M-Brain, where I progressed to a position of senior analyst and later team leader of Eastern Europe, managing a multi-lingual team of 12 people, covering countries such as the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, Romania and Albania. In my role as analyst I was responsible for monitoring daily business news from economic newspapers, journals and press releases from the Czech Republic and Slovakia, writing translated summaries from them into English for clients' daily reports. They included macroeconomic news and business news from various sectors.
As team leader I prioritized tasks according to urgency, optimizing workload allocation among team members. I was also working on strategies for improved performance of the team and was liaising with other regional and global teams.
I worked as a teacher of English as a foreign language at a Komenskeho Primary School in Komarno, Slovakia, in the school years 1994/1995 - 1997/1998, implementing innovative strategies in foreign language learning of primary school children aged between 8 and 14. My tasks also included managing classroom behavior effectively, adapting teaching methods with different approach to suit each pupil needs and preparing younger group of children who were part of the so-called "language classes" for language competitions.
I joined the Nesvady Primary School in Slovakia as an English teacher of pupils between the age of 10 and 14, including beginners. In this role I developed creative and innovative teaching and language learning methods for beginners and intermediate-level pupils. I also provided tailored regular homework assignments, revision, testing and gave constructive feedback after assignments promoting growth and further improvement and encouragement. I also managed classroom behavior and facilitated pupil/parent - teacher meetings to address progress or any concerns.
