As a school cleaning assistant I adhered to keeping the facilities hygienic creating a safe environment for pupils and staff. This was ensure by doing tasks such as:

• Emptied and cleaned trash cans following procedures.
• Used vacuum cleaners and associated accessories to clean various floor surfaces to customer specifications.
• Maintained hygiene for a healthier student environment by disinfecting classrooms and washrooms.
• Ensured cleanliness by regularly sweeping and mopping school corridors.
• Carried out deep cleaning tasks during holidays to ensure readiness before new term commencement.

• As a nursery assistant, my daily responsibilities included both housekeeping and childcare tasks.
• In the kitchen, I ensured cleanliness and order by washing dishes, mopping floors, hanging clothes, washing clothes, clearing all bins and managing the dishwasher.
• In the children's rooms, I played a supportive role by helping feed the children (whilst ensuring those with allergies were given the correct meal), cleaning up after their food to help out the room leaders, sweeping and tying the play rooms.
• Led storytelling and reading sessions to enhance language skills and instil a love of literature in young learners.
• Maintained a safe and hygienic environment, conducting regular safety checks and adhering to health regulations.
