Through my experience at previous jobs, I have been able to develop a wide skill-set including highly effective communication and listening through telephone, email and face-to-face interaction, problem solving and the ability to think on my feet, great attention to fine details, strong IT skills and organisational skills which allow for excellent time management and punctuality. I work exceptionally well both independently and as part of a team and have ample experience in both from working and studying. From studying my degree, I have found that I cope well under pressure which I see as an advantage as it allows me to produce work to a high standard in environments that may typically be seen as stressful. I have also gained valuable experience from creating and carrying out presentations as part of my degree and from this I have been able to develop my strong customer service skills and quickly found the immense importance of greeting and interacting with customers in a professional yet friendly manner to allow them to feel comfortable and at ease. I find great importance in organisation as it allows a smooth experience for both the employee and customers and provides ease in high-stress situations. To further develop on my IT skills, through studying my degree I have undertaken multiple modules on IT applications such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint and can confidently execute tasks on all platforms. I also have experience with online software such as TimeHarvest which I have used confidently to produce quotes, file clients and produce invoices. I understand the importance of technology in this time and find myself quick to adapt to and navigate forms of software which are new to me due to the experience I hold. Overall, I am confident in my abilities and believe I offer a wide range of important and relevant skills which I would hope to continue to develop as my experience grows.
