This involved providing recommendations to facilitate the implementation of GHG reporting processes and the establishment of a robust data management plan.
  • Local Authorities: Collaborated with Cornwall County Council (client attested), another prominent UK local authority, along with 5 district councils, and a housing association to support their 2030 carbon reduction commitments. Streamlined inventory management for Cornwall County Council, generating holistic reports and introducing new scope 3 categories for improved planning towards targets. Performed retrospective audits and guidance notes for future carbon management, including digital sustainability solution appraisals and recommendations for industry-leading carbon management platforms. Customised government carbon accounting tools to meet the council's specific requirements, ensuring standardized inventory management and robust annual reporting. Identified opportunities for data quality enhancement and carbon footprint reduction, aligning with the council's ambitious goal of carbon neutrality by 2030.
