This job required me to support the homeless individuals by offering them meals, conversations and a welcoming environment helping and ensuring they feel seen and respected. This allowed me to expand on my communication skills and teamwork skills as I worked and communicated with others around me it also made me more aware of what was going on in society.

Volunteered at a daycare center that served individuals with diverse needs, including those who used wheelchairs and individuals with Down syndrome. I provided attentive support and supervision during various daily activities, ensuring a safe, inclusive and engaging environment. I actively participated in and facilitated recreational and educational tasks, helping foster a sense of belonging and emotional well being for each participant. My involvement contributed to creating a welcoming atmosphere where all individuals felt valued, respected and empowered.

Volunteered at Joseph Chamberlain College to raise awareness about cancer. I worked collaboratively with peers to organise awareness campaigns and events aimed at informing students about cancer prevention and support. This experience strengthened my teamwork, leadership and public speaking skills while contributing to an important social cause. I was able to raise over £200 for this cause within a day.

Completed work experience at Cromwell Primary School in 2022, which consisted of me assisting in the nursery department. Responsibilities included ensuring the safety and well being of young children while engaging them in various activities such as physical education, drawing and painting. this allowed me to gain hands on experience in child supervision, early years development and classroom support.

Appointed Football Team Captain in Year 7 during secondary school, demonstrating early leadership skills and a strong sense of teamwork. Took initiative in organising and leading training sessions, motivating team members and fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment. I developed communication, responsibility and decision-making skills through on field leadership.
