My job was to triage / treat patients who worked at the site. Conditions ranging from simple illness to life-threatening conditions which required resuscitation or stabilization and referral to the nearest appropriate medical departments.
My role was about treating all common medical conditions and referring patients to fellow specialists or other medical services for urgent and specialist treatment, focusing on the health of the whole person combining physical, psychological and social aspects of care.
Also, carrying Common procedures/interventions such as; 1-performing clinical examinations of patients to assess, diagnose and monitor a patient's condition,
2-carrying out tests within the A&E unit such as urine sample testing to assist with diagnosis,
3-interpreting findings from investigations such as blood tests to help reach a diagnosis,
4-using basic & advanced life support skills and emergency procedures such as defibrillation where necessary.
5-Applying ATLS skills when needed.
My job was to perform a variety of clinical duties. These duties were completed under the supervision of a fully registered physician or established medical assistant (depending upon the task), and was performed to very specific standards. These clinical duties may include:
1-Preparing patients for examinations. This may include leading patients to examination rooms, taking and logging patient vital signs and medical histories, explaining procedures, and setting up equipment for the doctor's arrival. I was also responsible for cleaning and preparing examination rooms after a patient's departure. 2-Laboratory tasks; In many cases, I was required to collect and handle samples for pathological testing as well as assisting with injectable medications for patients. 3-Managing supplies; I was trained and responsible for sorting and organizing laboratory materials, keeping examination rooms stocked, and inspecting the structure and integrity of medical implements. As a medical intern, I was responsible for a wide variety of clinical and administrative tasks under the direction and guidance of experienced professionals. This allowed me to hone my skills under ‘safety net' conditions so that I will be fully prepared to enter the workforce as a competent, skilled professional.

Since the age of 9, I've been fascinated with computers and learned about software, hardwares and maintenance. I have always been the tech member of the family with relatives asking for help with their computers and gadgets.
This has always been with me even after I got into the med school. I see an opportunity to integrate machine learning into efficient patient care, everywhere I go. This made me start learning about coding, hoping that one day I'll be able to act on my dreams.
I'm also an athlete person who is very interested in sports generally and Football specifically. I also enjoy swimming and hiking. Work life balance is an essential factor in deciding where to go and what to choose.
