I am an Afghan national and came to the UK as a refugee in January 2022. I live with my foster parents in Yeovil and I am looked after by Somerset Council.
I have a Biometric Residency Permit which allows me to work and study in the UK for 5 years. Prior to my 21st birthday I will apply for an indefinite right to remain in the UK, as this is now my home.
I am hardworking and had two summertime part time jobs during July-September.
I am now a student at Yeovil College but wish to undertake part-time work in a busy environment that will allow me to work as part of a team. Skilled multitasker with superior work ethic and good teamwork, problem-solving and organizational skills. Willing to take on any task to help team. Reliable and dedicated team player with hardworking and resourceful approach.
I am a keen cricket player and am a member of Yeovil Cricket Club, where I have played regularly. I was recently awarded with the best all rounder cup for 2023 in the Sunday XI.
In September 2023 I started a 12 month course at Yeovil College, studying Progression Pathways and have combined this with Protective Services and ESOL. This will allow me to attain a grade 4 GCSE equivalent in Maths and English.
In September 2024 I intend to study Protective Services to enable me to apply for the Police once I am 21yrs of age.
As an additional enrichment I am studying Sport. This contributes to my fitness.
