Continuing my Site/Setting out Engineer on permanent basis for BYLOR JV a partnership of two of Europe’s most dynamic engineering and construction specialist Laing o’ Rourke and Bouygues Travaux Publics helping contribute to the successful delivery of the first New Nuclear Power Generation Project in the UK at Hinkley Point ‘C’ as a Site/Setting out Engineer so that Britain’s get Net Zero Carbon Energy. I carried out the following responsibilities.

• Ensuring high accuracy in setting out/surveying and monitoring of works
• Setting out of Civil Works such as Reinforced Concrete Levels and Positions, Steel Column and Beams, and anchors with tight tolerances according to the design and specifications.
• I have also successfully set out a range of embedded items such as Sleeves, Earthing Terminals, Doorframes, Openings and Plates.
• Using Gridlines is an essential part of setting out and i used them every day from drawings. This could include marking gridlines for sub-contractors or marking embedded items from gridlines that are provided by the designer.
• Preparation of Auto CAD DXF file using information’s from other formats such as Trimble 3D and Navisworks.
• Managing and documenting As-Built Surveys and prepare As-Built model using AutoCAD as well.
• Continuously reviewing and creating Visual Task Sheets (VTS) documentations.
• Making sure all LAD(List of Applicable documents),Models/Specifications are updated and available on site.
• Successfully conducting quality control/assurance checks on all the elements being constructed.
• Addressed and Resolved non-conformities(NCRs), Raised RFI and FCRs(Field change Request).
• Implementing the Inspection and Test Plan(ITP) ensuring that evidence and witness signoff is achieved at every step.
• Streamlining workflow by implementing efficient task management strategies.
• Documenting technical specifications and requirements in alignment with company-established protocols.

I worked as a Site Engineer for 3 years with AECM Pvt Ltd (Advanced Electrical Construction and Maintenance Private Limited)-A Self established company incorporated in 2018. I played an important role in overseeing various projects including road construction, construction of school and Hospital buildings, Water Supply Scheme, and civil works in solarization projects. My responsibilities included ensuring the smooth execution of each project from conception to completion. I did involve in coordinating with stakeholders, conducting site inspections, managing resources, and adhering to quality and safety standards.

• In Road projects I supervised the construction process, ensuring proper alignment, grading and pavement alignment and managed implementation of drainage system. For alignment, drainage location and direction of flow and calculation of excavation I used total station. I used AutoCAD for making layout of the project highlighting each component of the work. Used total station for surveying purpose i.e. cut and fill etc.
• In Schools and Hospital construction I coordinated with architects and contractors to ensure compliance with design specifications and building codes. I had been involved in monitoring construction progress, and report it to site manager, resolving technical issues, and ensuring timely project delivery to meet the needs of the educational and healthcare sectors. (Used total station for setting out to bring control on site and locate piles, drainage, formation excavation, alignments etc.)
• In water supply schemes, I was responsible for site surveys, designing water distribution networks, and overseeing the installation of pipelines and pumping stations. I ensured that the water supply systems met regulatory standards and provided reliable access to clean water for communities.
• Collaborated effectively with design teams refining plans as per ground realities.
• Managed project timelines for timely completion of tasks.
• Delivered projects within deadline by efficiently managing resources and personnel.
