TEACHING AND MANAGERIAL SKILLS

I was honored to be the chief resident in my last year of training and my responsibilities included but were not limited to : Ensuring good communication between residents, faculty members and nursing staff. Organize the residents’ rotations and On-call schedules. Scheduling multiple teaching activities like ground rounds, journal clubs, flea market, mortality and morbidity. Being part of the team responsible for organizing the medical students’ examinations and Jordanian Board Exams. I always worked well with my colleagues to produce a comprehensive manuscript in a time efficient way. During my residency, I was responsible for supervising junior residents’ academic activities like lectures, journal clubs and teaching rounds. I also participated actively in teaching medical students and my duties included supervising their history taking skills, performing physical examination and clinical approach to the patients.
