- Responsible for all design, upgrade, modification, installation, operation, and maintenance activities to ensure the achievement of all day-to-day operational goals
- Leading, managing, and motivating the utility team and providing continuous support to ensure optimal performance
- Fully accountable for overseeing the functioning of the mills’ pneumatic and electro-pneumatic systems and the compressed air systems, including compressors, dryers, and pneumatic network
- Dealing with all technical department inquiries related to mills utilities and resolving all issues with optimal accuracy and efficiency
- Designing, developing, and installing all new HVAC, pneumatic, and water systems and following the relevant maintenance procedures for all three
- Delivering effective pneumatic and electro-pneumatic training to trainees and new staff, monitoring performance, and providing constructive and useful feedback to facilitate the development
- Planning and performing preventative and corrective maintenance on all utility machinery, ensuring the correct service at the right time for all company facilities
- Ordering spare parts as required and maintaining the minimum level of required stock at all times
- Consulting, developing and producing the necessary designs for systems and equipment to ensure their optimal operation and maintenance with minimal downtime and expenditure
- Implementing and monitoring HSE/GMP regulations and procedures to ensure a safe and secure operating environment for the staff and machinery.
