I am a recent BSc Psychology of Sport, Exercise and Performance graduate from the University Campus of Football Business (UCFB), with my degree classification pending. Throughout my three-year course, I developed a strong understanding of mental skills, behaviour, and performance, while successfully balancing my academic responsibilities alongside part-time employment. In addition to my studies, I have gained valuable experience working in a range of roles, including coaching children aged 2–5 in football, which helped me develop patience, communication skills, and the ability to engage and positively influence young people. My experience in retail has further strengthened my customer service skills, teamwork, and confidence when working with diverse individuals. I believe these experiences, combined with my academic background and strong work ethic, make me an excellent candidate for this role. I am highly motivated to build upon the skills I have already developed while learning new ones as I progress in this rewarding and meaningful position.
Working as a Customer Service Colleague, I regularly support individuals by handling queries and resolving complaints calmly, professionally, and with empathy. These skills are directly transferable to youth work, where clear communication, active listening, and problem‑solving are essential when supporting young people and building trusting relationships. In addition, my work on the shop floor , including stock checks and maintaining a safe and presentable environment, has strengthened my attention to detail, organisation, and sense of responsibility. I understand the importance of creating welcoming, well‑structured spaces where individuals feel comfortable and supported. I am a hardworking, reliable, and flexible individual who is always willing to go above and beyond to ensure tasks are completed to a high standard. My ability to move between roles effectively, remain positive under pressure, and act as a responsible role model makes me a strong asset within a team
