• Heading Medical Management & Post issuance risk verification process (PIRV)
• In charge of zones & channels for addressing UW related queries from different Branches & cross functions in the organization.
• Auto Underwriting auditing & enhancement of Auto Underwriting rules
• Had been involved in Testing & UAT for the systems / new product / UW guidelines / auto rules.
• Underwriting MIS and Analysis, Had prepared ‘Underwriting Dashboard' and ‘Quality Scorecard'. Also Prepared and Implemented Underwriting Productivity, Decision Trend Tracker
• Had been involved in Health claims underwriting, Analysing the health claim files from underwriting point of view, giving the decision for the health claims based on the underwriting principles & guidelines.
• Member to Business Contingency Planning for Underwriting – successfully conducted biannual mock drills for Underwriting at different BCP sites & getting the ISO 9001 certification for the underwriting processes & documentation. Also was part of the RCSA team representing the underwriting department.
• Responsible for preparing & updating SOPs for portfolios.
• Handling & maintain the budget for UW department.
• Had been involved in Six sigma projects of NPW & TAT analysis health cases.

• Awarded for best handling of queries across the branches at “Underwriting Query Box” in HDFC Standard Life
• Was appreciated for best supporting staff for handling the queries across the branches for the health business in Birla sun Life insurance company

• Won many accreditations as an underwriting leader for processing maximum number of cases at manager level along with handling other important portfolio
