
I am an experienced Manager with over 10 years in retail industry. I have ran a successful eCommerce business for the last 10 years, seeing year on year growth from £0 to over a Million within 5 years. I have a wealth of experience dealing with customers and suppliers on a day to day basis. I managed the regular design of the website, ensuring we kept up with current market trends, negotiating on bulk orders and wholesaler contracts, ordering goods, shipping nationally and oversees, marketing, and accounts. On occasions we took large orders over the telephone and gave sales support and dealt with service queries.
After running my own business I have experience in many areas. I recruited an extensive team around me, from admin support, accounts assistant, website & social media team to dealing with the outsourcing of our deliveries. I pride myself on my excellent reputation for resolving problems and improving customer satisfaction. I had a good working relationship with all of our suppliers, and in nearly all cases I could diffuse a customer who was not satisfied with the service they had received.
In my previous roles, I have worked as an administrative executive, worked on reception in a health club and as a successful member of the sales department. I worked in the travel industry for the first 10 years of my career and then went onto to work in high street travel agents.
I have experience working in team environments for bigger companies and have a reputation for hard work, punctuality and willingness to learn new things.
