As the manager of a team of four, my responsibilities include overseeing all asset desk duties such as asset ingestion, sharing, and quality control of asset naming, structures, and supply along with the standardisation of digital rights management across global markets. In order to improve productivity and efficiency, I am currently working on refurbishing cross-client systems with new solutions. I also drive the education and adoption of these new asset systems, ensuring that they meet the specific needs of our agency and clients. Before deployment, I test and troubleshoot these systems, providing feedback and improvements to developers. Additionally, I am responsible for driving the adoption of new systems across the agency, tailoring training for different roles and considering individual workflows for our UK and EU sites. To ensure seamless integration, I standardize the use of these new tools across agencies, regions, and with 3rd party partners based on client requirements. Regularly auditing remote working requirements and solutions allows me to maximize efficiencies while maintaining the quality of work and minimizing additional costs. I also work closely with System Engineers to implement file system upgrades and test and deploy them across the agency. Finally, I drive the optimization of storage usage by testing and deploying a storage agent to improve our day-to-day interactions with data on the storage platforms.
