  • Responsible for the accounts of several premier brands in women’s designer wear. I kept a meticulous record of all purchases made and services commissioned by my accounts, and systematically recorded all payments completed.
  • I was engaged in generating internal invoices to authorise payments, coding and checking invoices, working out additional VAT payments on top of the basic costs, checking and reconciling supplier statements, filing invoices and statements, and dealing with all purchase enquiries and processing staff expenses. I maintained an excellent relationship with the departmental buyers, and independent suppliers in order to ensure that the accounts were settled in a timeous manner.

  • My job purpose was to maximize retail business of the Lejaby brand in Fenwick Bond Street, and thereby to achieve retail targets and specified objectives.
  • Responsibilities included achieving setting business targets, which were successfully accomplished for each season I was in position. My role required me to build strong relationships with other store personnel ensuring the members of the department were updated with Lejaby selling benefits and promotions. I was responsible for liaising with the buying department, keeping them informed of all stock and fitting issues, and was tasked with ensuring the correct visual merchandising of the Lejaby brand, with all stock in size order. I was also tasked with seeing that points of sale opportunities were utilized whenever possible, and when necessary I negotiated site and space to maximize retail to great effect. I liaised with the consultant manager at head office for support and information, and provided feedback in the form of written reports detailing sales figures on a monthly basis. In my position at Lejaby I prided myself on providing a professional fitting service built upon the vast amount of experience I have in customer service in the lingerie industry.

  • Responsible for day to day management of two part time staff, merchandising, placing and agreeing re orders, preparing weekly reports, managing in store promotions and staff training at the Leadenhall Market boutique. I was also the manager of the Bodas concession in Harvey Nicholls, Knightsbridge where I worked two to three days per week. My primary role was to raise awareness of the brand and to provide a professional fitting service to customers. My other responsibilities included giving my colleagues regular product training and providing head office with sales performance reports on a weekly basis. When taking over the responsibility of manager at Bodas, I was able to use my excellent customer focus skills to improve the quality of the service to the customer, client and business alike. I regularly took responsibility to communicate with the clientele, which in turn provided me with the opportunity demonstrate my on going commitment to customer satisfaction. On numerous occasions I carried out and took a lead role in advising both existing and prospective clientele of the new and up and coming ranges. Working closely together with the staff as a team, I was able to assess and improve upon the then current working practices to achieve targets and deadlines. My excellent leadership and people management skills were further developed through my team spirited drive and direction.
