Summary

A Senior Leader with 18 years of Educational Leadership. I have led teams with up to 100 staff.

I have a strong sense of direction, professional awareness with a positive outlook. I am a collaborative worker, lateral and logical thinker - a natural leader. I am focused on raising standards and maintaining good relationships between the school, parents, governors and its wider stakeholders.

I have raised standard across the school by tailoring the CPD to the strategic priorities of the school. The priorities are identified by scrutinising data and through monitoring of teaching and learning. Teachers are empowered to identify their areas for development and feel safe to ask for support. It is important that my professional development is current and up to date. I ensure that I undertake the necessary CPD to support my own professional development. This place me in a position to support colleagues.

I look at group and individual performances and plan interventions for children and support for teachers.

I firmly believe that Every Child Matters. The outcomes within the document are still relevant for the children that we teach and their families. I am committed to ensuring that the next generation can live successful, healthy lives whilst making a positive contribution to society.
