Strengths Achievements

  • Project/Process Management
  • Integrated US mobile phone carriers’ (e.g. T-Mobile) specific needs into Bullitt’s operations plan, including collaborative planning, forecasting and replenishment, EDI, order delivery date reporting and delivery scheduling.
  • Successfully implemented rebranding of Sainsbury’s pasta, discontinuing 60 lines and launching 70 new SKUs. Worked closely with factories, logistics, and Sainsbury’s forecasting and regulatory departments to ensure smooth transition with minimum wastage of old lines, meeting demand for new lines from day one.
  • Produced and implemented a full data procurement plan for GSK UK, ensuring all data needs were met for all business units within budget
  • Developed (in conjunction with a programmer) and managed GSK UK’s Performance Reward & Recognition System database: managed system’s move to SQL server (from Microsoft Access) to facilitate the production of multiple sales force league tables.
  • Innovation
  • Improved Bullitt’s monthly stock count process by comparing reported figures from eight warehouses with download from finance system. Any anomalies resolved as they occurred. Dramatically reduced issues related to stock control and consequently saved time, money and effort spent investigating
  • Worked with Bullitt’s third party logistics partner to implement rework capabilities. Enabled the ability to change SKUs, with a view to addressing over stocks or under stocks
  • Developed a method of integrating Sainsbury’s till sales into planning systems to increase accuracy of forecast while reducing time spent on analysis.
  • At GSK, identified a simple, cost effective means of isolating a market segment through understanding a therapy area and knowledge of all available data sources that allowed the realisation of an opportunity created by the withdrawal of a competitor product from the market. Implementation resulted in additional sales of £11 million.
  • Influencing and communication skills
  • Delivery of Bullitt Mobile’s devices, on time and in full routinely was achieved through clear communication and collaborative working across a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders. Geographically, stakeholders were located from Shenzhen to San Francisco and in terms of seniority, from CEOs to administrators
  • Led and delivered three GSK UK Salary Review and Bonus schemes for multiple field force work streams: cross-functional projects (including HR, sales management, business information) delivering annual reward and recognition within tight timelines. Handling budgets of £5 million for incentives, £1 million for salary increases and £300K for promotions per annum, across 800 salesforce employees
