Having migrated from Malaysia at the age 5, many peoples first experience in London may not seem significant, but for me, it was a turning point. After being used to poorly constructed roads and undeveloped infrastructure, the seemingly levitating buildings around me sparked a realisation: this whole world is built upon the pillars of
engineering. This one experienced fuelled my entire journey into engineering, causing me to take explore different pathways of the subject from acquiring and fixing broken iPhones to 3d printing a functioning airplane from scratch.
