Successfully migrating the system across Tandem fault-tolerant hardware with no operational impact on customers. - Analyse and design for a UK financial infrastructure company, designed the message flows and new infrastructure to allow UK Banks and Direct Debit Originators to co-ordinate the move of customer accounts between banks. Liaised with the various internal teams to coordinate the necessary changes and keep the customer banks fully informed of progress and their responsibilities. The system was in action for several years before being replaced by the current UK switching service.
- Leading a design team of 10 analysts building new functionality on a fuel card system for a major international energy company
- Running a team of 20 analysts and developers for a European financial infrastructure company building new functionality on the UK share registration system and laterly managed the 5 strong support function prior to training up and handing over to my replacement from the customers' staff.
