
Experienced professional with a strong background in Print Marketing campaigns planning, utilising conventional litho, digital and screen print processes.
Strong creativity and innovative cardboard engineering/metal fabrication project management,
Proven ability to effectively manage and execute marketing promotions from inception to completion, with a focus on budget control, and production timelines
Supporting and advising stakeholders on the submission of promotional design needs, materials and processes. Enabling desired outcome of products and following company practice through sustainability and Health and Safety of incentive products.
· Oversee point of sale and other Marketing Promotions projects, ensuring that they are delivered on time, to budget and to the necessary quality and safety standards.
· Liaise with all divisions and imprints, to understand their marketing materials requirements – and to implement these from concept to delivery.
· Establish, maintain and cultivate relationships among the stakeholders – both internally and externally.
· Participate in customer meetings on request to ensure that the projects are correctly briefed.
· Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best product at the best price and seek opportunities to save money wherever possible across the business.
· Maintain awareness and understanding of Penguin’s ethical purchasing strategy, and ensure that this is adhered to when purchasing items globally.
· In line with Production Purchasing Strategy – and working with line manager, oversee the annual supplier review / tender.
· Liaise with internal and external designers on appropriate file set up/supply for POS and Marketing print.
· Keep up to date with technical advances and developments within the company and the greater industry to enhance skills and working practices.
· Work with new members of the Marketing Divisions to provide training in relevant guidelines and procedures.
· Proactively seek out new and improved materials and concepts and share with the business.
· Ensure communication between Central Group Marketing and other departments/suppliers is always carefully considered and issues are communicated upwards as appropriate.
· Remain flexible and be prepared to assist stakeholders where necessary outside of role.
· Give support to members of the wider production teams where needed.
· Adapt to differing business priorities.
· Oversee the production of Book Proofs for a numerous imprints within the business
