I lead all operational data initiatives, working closely with stakeholders to align vision and requirements. My responsibilities range from writing SQL queries for ad hoc data requests, producing departmental Power BI reports, to developing machine learning forecasting models.

Key Projects

ML Forecasting
Implemented machine learning models to support demand and sales forecasting, enabling the business to understand the projected impact of current actions. This has informed strategic decision-making, accelerated growth trajectories, and provided directors with clear roadmaps and options for achieving targets. The initiative contributed to a 7% increase in growth.

Operational BI Reporting
Identified inefficiencies in legacy SSRS reporting and developed tailored Power BI dashboards in collaboration with operational teams. These dashboards streamlined reporting, improved operational efficiency, and enabled the company to pass a regulatory reporting audit for the first time. They also drove billing accuracy to record levels and helped achieve our highest ranking in the non-domestic complaints standings.

Broker Commission System
Took ownership of the broker commission payment process, resolving long-standing timing issues that were straining broker relationships. Identified and eliminated the root causes of delays, ensuring on-time payments. A redesigned payment system that I proposed has been approved and is currently in development.

While at university, I gained hands-on experience within a professional sports analytics department, working under the Head of Performance Analysis for the first team. This role provided valuable insight into the power of data in football from both performance and operational perspectives. I utilised current performance data to produce heatmaps and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support coaching and strategic decisions.

Worked across both company facilities—Highbury Stadium and Poolfoot Farm—within their bar operations. Progressively entrusted with greater responsibilities, including opening and closing bars, and occasionally securing both sites at the end of operations.
