- At CDE my main responsibilities as a Project Design Engineer are releasing plant items for jobs across all our regions and lead design on full wash plants or plant upgrades on existing customer plants. My region is UK & Ireland but I have also had lead design jobs in Europe.
- The products I'm responsible for are Conveyors and Buffer tanks which vary in size and style depending on the customer requirements. I like to be on hand at our Monkstown facility to oversee the build and answer any queries as they come through the factory and take on board any feedback from our assembly team.
- I have been lead design on projects ranging from £300,000 to £3m and a total of over £7m to date. As lead design I'm involved from the site kick off meeting right through to installation and commissioning and like to get in as much site time as possible with a hands on approach. I would also hold regular engineering review meetings throughout the process with all departments involved to ensure everything runs smoothly as well as keeping an eye on how plant items are progressing through the factory.
- I would use SolidEdge 3D software as well as AutoCAD to a high degree of proficiency, and be highly competent in the use of Team Centre and IFS (ERP).

- As a Project Manager/Design Engineer I would have been fully involved with projects from site measuring/pre sales, design, manufacture and installation, I am equally competent in SolidWorks and AutoCAD and would spec and procure materials.

- I also worked closely with the production manager creating build lists and works orders for the shop floor as well as creating parts on SolidWorks to incorporate into edge cam creating NC codes for the CNC mills as well meeting deadlines
